![]() | What is the Family Support Committee and what does it do?[Note, Summer 2008: some of the information on this page may be out of date. Web site is being reevaluated.]The Family Support Committee (FSC) of Ramsey County, Minnesota, a subcommittee of the I.E.I.C., is made up of parents of young children with special needs, as well as representatives from a variety of public and private disability-focused groups in Ramsey County. Our goal is to reach out to parents of young children with special needs in Ramsey County and to help connect them to resources and information they may be seeking for their child and their family. We work closely with the county's Early Childhood Information and Referral (see below for contact information and more about E.C.I.R.R.C.). The FSC publishes a newsletter several times a year and maintains this web site. We also host three family events, or family nights, each year. We sponsor these events to give parents and caregivers a place to connect with other families of young children with special needs, and also to provide a place where we can share information, resources, and support. (Please return to the Welcome page for information on our next event.) Join Us!We are always looking for new parents who wish to share their ideas or become a part of our committee. We have just added new pages to this site especially for your stories and tips. Whether you are interested in joining the committee, submitting a tip or story for the web site, want to make a suggestion about our family events or the web site, or just want to ask a question about the Family Support Committee, please contact the E.C.I.R.R.C. office: Contact information:
