I am one with everyone on the planet. Rooms are booked, Cappichino machine coffee isn't going to work because it is cost prohibitive, we will get hot pots of cappichino, latte's and coffee. Buy syrups. Have a voluteer tend the coffee. Cider. Latte and Coffee both decaf and regular. Cider, and hot water for tea I will work it out with either Java Train or coffee grounds "A piece of cake." I will look up their menu. Honey crisp apples I will ask the farmer's market guy to have a bushel of them for me. Pumpkins for decoration. Candles I will buy them. A greeter at the door, as the doors are locked. August 2, 2007- the morning after the 35W bridge fell... Panel: online, support group, informal school, journal or writing or poetry, parent to parent, spiritual, Online jean support group informal group journal- diane hovey parent to parent Spiritual Peter Lund--Rhonda Jean's support story about David sitting up. Not Susan Vass. Call some coffee houses. for an espresso Fatmata tea, water, 1 resourse table and have the resourse people move from table to table. May 31, 2007 Present: Jean Bender- eagle, Fatima Berrie-Fox, Pam Jandl-Fox, !!! and Rhonda DeBough-turkey I will put on the web site links to head start, arc.. Gossiping is another word "Networking". Picnic Nice turnout, in the future go with the 150 number for Aesops. Next year...We need to try and get teen agers to help with cookies. Pam-- Bring parachute for kids who need something to do with their energy. Other Business: loved the postcards I will get magnets designed and ordered by the end of the month with logo and web page Contact Susan Voss.-early october, weds are difficult, Coffee and dessert-resource fair/support group/down syndrom/head start/parent connection/ecfe/diane hovery/ internet support group--I will work on that. March 15, 2007 Present: Jean Bender, drew spider Pam Jandl drew moose, Fatima Barrie drew badger, Rhonda DeBough drew turkey The date for our picnic event May 16, a wednesday night. Aesops, I will contact them and get what we had last year. can Arc bring chips, crystal light, water, fruit cups, pbj uncrustable, and cookies and frosting and sprinkles, juice boxes? Entertainment: Pam will ask Violet to play guitar. Jean will order bubbles. Jean will find face painters. Fatima will find a bubble artist. Everyone will feel out for a storyteller. Kids love storytellers. Volunteers for registration, and helping families, clean up and set up, taxi service. Drink and food nazi, cookies, sign in sheet. Rhonda will take pictures for web page and poloride.
Susan Vass can't give us a date, we will schedule an event called connecting with others and have it be a dessert and coffee event. We will hope for Susan and punt if we can't get her. Care for the caregiver either feb 2 or 9 2008 Jean will check on which date is available in her space.. We discussed: Opening up the events to more than Ramsey county family.. Maybe, we need to talk about this some more. Susan Vass's event: 7:00-9pm 7-730 checkin 730-830 Susan 830-9 networking... Try to get other agencies involved, Candice. Post Cards... Jean will get bid at our printer for card stock, color and shiny cards. I will check on line for pricing. Jean will ask Kathy how many we usually get for events. We are thinking about 5000 cards printed up. I will contact Fatima about ARC's involvement. I will contact Susan Voss about Payment and dates. I will find out about new internet company and get information to committee. Next Meeting: March 15 at Roseville, same place, at 1030.
January 26, 2007 Present Jean, Pam, and Rhonda We did a great exercise that Jean brought. It was a thought provoking, team building experience. We read the feed back from the Jan 20 event. All very positive. Our only issue seems to be getting the folks there. There were only 6 parents present. We will get some cards to hand out by the picnic that asks people to save the date for next years events. I will work on those cards and have the beginning of one ready for our next meeting. I will also contact Susan Voss and begin to talk about our event with her next fall. We are thinking about an evening with her and coffee and dessert. Our next meeting to begin to plan the spring picnic will be on Tuesday Feb 13. 1030, same place. Jean will get dates that are available at Como park.

Oct. 19, 2006 Present; Jean Bender, Rhonda DeBough
We discussed the FSC and what we have been up to this year. Since we didn't have a fall event, we have been spending some of our money supporting different groups to get together. I.E. Hmong gathering, Spanish speaking Down's syndrome group and the Arc conference are some of the events we have been co sponsoring. Jean and I discussed further the event for spring 07. Rhonda knows massage,music and decorator person. Jean knows music, chocolate person and art person We are still looking for someone who has a connection with an Aroma therapy person and someone who may be able to help with relationships. (Although Jean is going to talk to some radio personalities that she knows). We will try for the same location and the Eddington lunch. Since both of those things seem to be popular and have worked so nicely for us in the past.
Next meeting on Oct 26 we will determine the date and begin booking people.

We are looking for experts in the following areas to do a panel discussion and then participate in an information fair. Our Fall event will be cosponsored with ARC. It is titled "Families of children with disabilities" I will make a flyer for the event. We began discussions about our winter event.
